Question: How can we save the environment?
Submitted by: Keri Kangaroo - Age 17 - From PHILIPPINES - 04/20/2008

Response:
Here's just a couple of things you can do to help save the environment.
-Recycle
-Reuse
-Take shorter Showers
-Pick up trash if you see it on the ground
-Turn off the lights when you leave a room
-don't litter

Those are some things that would help the environment big time!
Responsed by: Arielle Humble - Age 17 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA) - 04/21/2008

You can do a whole bunch of stuff like turning the water off when you brush your teeth. We use our shower water to flush the toilet and instead of using paper stuff like cups and plates you can use china instead.

Submitted by: Trinity Pine - Age 16 - From UNITED KINGDOM - 04/17/2008

Response:
yes it had
Responsed by: Lauren Pie - Age 16 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA) - 04/17/2008

I learned a lot during the team challenge! Also in Washingon D.C I'm also learning a lot. To be truthfull,I barely knew anything about the earth untill kidscom.com. It's an amazing site and I can't even put in it words how this has helped me to do whatever I can to help the earth and animals. One way I am helping already is that I'm a vegetarian (a non-meat eater).
Responsed by: Arielle Humble - Age 17 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA) - 04/17/2008

So far I've met the congress and the senate. I'm learning more about being energy efficient. I've seen the obalisk and the capital. I've even been in the capital and its underground tunnels.
Responsed by: Fuji Dragon - Age 18 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA) - 04/18/2008

Question: How do you win the Team Challenge? Do kids recycle more than adults do?
Submitted by: Robby Softball - Age 16 - From UNITED KINGDOM - 04/17/2008

Response:
well adults just get tired of recycleing i suppose i dont really know but maybe it just gets hard after a while
Responsed by: Lauren Pie - Age 16 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA) - 04/17/2008

Well I think maybe kids do because we are taught in schools and other things not to. Usually adults didn't get to learn all the things that we do now. But, you can help make adults better at recycling. Just tell your parents or someone you know how to reuse and recycle good. If you have questions how to you can ask an idea seeker or a guardian, or someone that you think knows a lot about the earth. All of us won because we did expeditions 9,10, and 11 a lot and made earth day cards. You can get fans if you ask them not yelling just politly. It isn't that hard to win if you really put your mind to it!
Responsed by: Arielle Humble - Age 17 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA) - 04/17/2008

Well maybe adults have just forgotten the importance of recycling and us kids are still learnig about it.
Responsed by: Fuji Dragon - Age 18 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA) - 04/18/2008

I would say best to try your best at the expeditions. And play as many you can to keep up your VP's and keep your plantbaby powered up so you don't get clouded up.

Responsed by: Fuji Dragon - Age 18 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA) - 04/18/2008

Right when you know team challenge starts, try to find a good partner (maybe someone you don't know to make friends with them). After you have gotten a partner look at the expeditions list to start them. Ask your partner to do them if he/she doesn't know how to, try to explain it to them. When you have done a lot of expeditions for that day, get fans. To get fans ask allies or even maybe idea seekers if they want to join your team. Remember to ask them nicely and politly. Once they join or before they join, ask them to do expeditions. If they don't know how, tell them to. Remember, you have to do all the steps to win the team challenge. If you really put your mind and heart into it, YOU CAN WIN TEAM CHALLENGE AND MEET NEW PEOPLE, AND THE BEST THING, LEARN ABOUT THE EARTH!!!!!!!!!!
Responsed by: Arielle Humble - Age 17 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA) - 04/18/2008

Submitted by: Kathleen Holly - Age 17 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA) - 04/10/2008

Response:
well thx to Daisy Kurt aka jessica she got the ppl on our team my straregy was to work as hard as we could but we got surpriseing results to a team and some bad ones :( some ppl cheat AND they dont do ANY they know what to do they just want to be on the winning team
Responsed by: Lauren Pie - Age 16 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA) - 04/17/2008

Just don't yell at them to join your team or if they have a cloud don't say ill cure you if you join my team. Just ask them nicely, if they say no, don't argue that much. It's there choice. I worked really hard on the expeditions. I did expeditions 9, 10, and 11 every day. My old partner Jule Leopard taught me how to do the expeditions.
