KidsCom.com Educators Root 'n Reward Account Set-up Information

Once you are registered in the program, access your account at: http://www.my.kidscom.com/jsp_a01_mkc/jsp_a01_b05_teachers_rnr/login.jsp

To message your students:

Choose their name from the list.
Write a note in the message box.
Choose the amount of points you would like to give them (you have 100,000 Virtual Points in your account).
If necessary, edit your name so they know who the message is from.
Click Submit.
Notes:
You can add students to your account by clicking on the "Add/Remove Students" button in the top navigation. Choose their name from the list.
Students can also add themselves to your account by going to: http://www.KidsCom.com/RnR.html

For your students to read their messages:

Log in to KidsCom.com
Click on the Mail button in the top navigation.
They should click on the message to see their points.
They can claim their points by writing a message back.
Once claimed, the Virtual Points will be added to their account.

To be able to message your students, they need to add themselves to your account. This is best done in a computer lab setting where you can ensure all the students follow the directions.

Adding Students to Your Account:

	Have each child go to: http://www.kidscom.com/RnR.html (the R's must be capitalized) Each child will need to log in using the account they have already set up on KidsCom.com (or they can set up an account).
	Each child needs to select your name and then enter the name they use in your classroom and the first initial of their last name. Once they click to Continue, they will be added to your account. You can also have your students print out instructions to add themselves to your account when they're at home by clicking here.
